The Anatomy of a Skin Care Product Room 110 This is a one-of-a kind interactive cosmetic chemistry class brought to estheticians by a master formulator and researcher. Dr. Pugliese leads the discussion into the complex world of product development, defining what is meant by “active” and “anti-aging”, “natural” and “organic” ingredients, preservative systems, and what they are all supposed to do. Each student will enjoy a hands-on experience, working with the laboratory equipment and raw materials used in creating superior skin care formulations, and highlighted by making an effective peptide to take home. All will be given both a Certificate of Completion for a five-hour Cosmetic Chemistry Workshop, and a new confidence in discerning professional product claims and performance. Peter T. Pugliese, MD, Circadia by Dr. Pugliese
